Live And Direct: The Best Prime Day Deals Of 2024

A Robot Vacuum That Can Mop and Vacuum at the Same TimeI can barely remember to sweep, but mopping? Good luck to me and my floors, especially since I have a constantly sticky toddler and a cat on a mission to cover our home in litter dust. Luckily, the Dreame X30 Ultra (7/10, WIRED Recommends) has been saving me from myself and the tiny mammals in my home. This powerful robot vacuum can mop your floors, and it takes off the mop pads when it vacuums my carpet or rug so that the damp pads aren’t dragged across. It’s a nice upgrade to have mopping and vacuuming in one clean session.

I originally tested the X30 Ultra in my apartment which was mostly carpet, but have since moved to a condo where this powerful vacuum is mostly mopping its days away and vacuuming my sole rug at the end of its shift. For both home setups, it’s done a great job, and the battery life is nice and long to put up with a decently large space. It’s been a lifesaver as I adjust to keeping a new home clean and dealing with more hardwood flooring than I’ve ever had before. It doesn’t come cheap, but this Prime Day discount makes it a much more reasonable investment.

The Pixel Fold Hits an All-Time Low PriceWant to wade into the world of folding smartphones? Google’s Pixel Fold (8/10, WIRED Recommends) is one of my favorite book-like folding devices because it’s short and wide, making it surprisingly comfortable to use compared to the competition, which is much taller. This is the first major price drop we’ve seen on this device, likely because Google is expected to unveil the Pixel 9 Pro Fold in mid-August. Expect that device to be super expensive, which makes the last-gen model a great buy at this price.

It’s plenty powerful, has a fully functional front screen, and opens up to an expansive 7.6-inch screen. If you’re an avid multitasker frequently juggling between apps, give a folding phone a try. (If you missed it, we’ve rounded up more Pixel deals here.)

A Cheap Standing Desk Gets Even CheaperFlexispot makes some of our favorite affordable standing desks, and for Prime Day, this means a chance to get its excellent tables at even lower prices. There’s a selection on sale, but we have tested and like the EN1. It’s a bit cumbersome to assemble but it has performed flawlessly in our testing for several years, includes presets, and looks great.

I also like Flexispot’s adjustable, rollable table, which is on sale for $85 ($15 off). This one is great near a bed or couch, as you can put the legs underneath your furniture and bring the desktop close to your seat.

This Office Chair Won’t Love You, But It Is Very SupportiveUsually, you only have one of two choices when setting up your office: you can pay for a decent office chair up front, or your back can pay the price later. We’ve discovered a secret, third option. One of our favorite office chairs has a breathable mesh fabric, sturdy frame, and adjustable headrest and lumbar support. Best of all, it’s frequently on sale, but never quite this low. There’s literally never been a better time to do your spine a favor.
